The Bundeswehr is the unified armed forces of Germany and their civil administration and procurement authorities. Israel Defense Forces
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are comprised of the ground forces, air force, and navy. The IDF has been specifically designed to match and serve Israel’s unique security situation. Since 1948, guided by its mission to defend the existence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of the state of Israel; to protect the inhabitants of Israel and to combat all forms of terrorism, the IDF has served as Israel’s armed forces in all the country’s major military operations.
The Israel Police is the civilian police force of Israel operating in all places where Israel has civilian control. Policing and law enforcement in Israel are the sole responsibility of the Israel Police. As a national force, the Israel Police is responsible for all aspects of policing, including public security, riot and crowd control, prevention of terror, maintaining law and order, fighting and preventing crime, investigating suspects, detective work, etc.
MDA is Israel’s national rescue organization, emergency medical, disaster, ambulance and blood bank service. As a national organization, MDA works in cooperation with other emergency and security authorities, such as the Israel Police, IDF, fire fighters, etc. The organization operates 119 stations over the country, with a fleet of over 700 ambulances. NATO is an intergovernmental military alliance based on the North Atlantic Treaty signed on 4 April 1949. The main purpose of NATO is to protect the freedom and security of its member countries by political and military means. All member countries that participate in the military aspect of the Alliance contribute forces and equipment, which together constitute the integrated military structure of the Alliance. These forces and assets remain under national command and control until a time when NATO requires them for a specific purpose.

U.S. Armed Forces

UN military personnel can be called upon to monitor a disputed border or peace processes in post-conflict areas, provide security across a conflict zone, protect civilians, assist in-country military personnel with training and support.
